In the KET-TIK app: new gigs and mixes arrive as a push.
KINGSTEPPA aka Steppa-T is a DJ, turntablist and beatmaker from Almaty with 17 years of experience behind the decks. His musical roots go deep into reggae and dub culture: today his sets feature hip-hop, jungle and bass
music, and the core of his style is technical turntable work and scratching.
Steppa is one of the key figures of Kazakhstan's DJ scene. He founded two DJ schools — Stay True (2012-2017) and Repas DJ (2018-2023), which trained new generations of artists. His platform DAB Community develops DJ culture and youth creative industries by running battles and events.
KINGSTEPPA is the official Technics ambassador and holder of the DMC Kazakhstan franchise, the national stage of the legendary world DJ championship. He doesn't just perform, he builds a space where a new wave of Kazakhstani DJs and turntablists grows
