Omi

Omi plays at the crossroads of intuition and structure: her mixes carry the breath of machines, groove and a personal story told through sound. Instead of genres — images, moods and associations, different for everyone. Together with St. Petersburg artist Prisheletz, she launched Subject Jam in Almaty — a series of open jams and workshops that later grew into the improvisation ensemble Subject Jam Orchestra. Omi performs as a DJ and sound artist in Dark Room, a production by the ARTиШОК theatre.
