About the party

The second episode of ALMATONIKA, a festival of electronic music and youth culture, goes down at Colossus. The first special guests announced are T.X. Prince and Mike Mej from Germany, known for their viral dance videos to the track Vielleicht, vielleicht. On social media they're called Vanya and Misha. The venue has a main hall with a stage, a small hall, a VIP balcony and a VIP backstage. Tickets on Ticketon from 8 800 tenge, via Freedom from 7 480 tenge; the organizers warn that prices at the door on the day of the event will be higher. 21+ entry.

Entry: 8,800 ₸ (about $18). Buy tickets online in advance; the price at the door can be higher. Keep some cash in tenge for the door and the bar.
Hours: Starts at 21:00, ends around 23:00. Parties get busy after midnight.
Age and ID: 21+ by the venue’s rules. Bring your passport: ID is often checked at the door.
Door: No strict dress code is announced; smart casual is safe.
Payment: Visa and Mastercard are accepted in most places; a 10% service charge is often already in the bill.
