About the party

Mehregan is an ancient Zoroastrian autumn festival of harvest and the passage from summer to autumn, the counterpoint to Nauryz on the yearly wheel. An evening of the experimental scene turned toward traditional ethnic sound: drone, ambient, noise, dark folk and improvisation alongside acoustic timbres and live instruments. Lúgnan — dark folk on the Japanese taishōgoto; EthNoise — ethnic instruments through effects pedals; HANG-OUT — ambient and field recordings; KICKCOS — ethno-drone with the shankobyz; UNKNOWN TONE — modular, rhythmic noise and spoken word. Doors at 17:30, entry by donation.
